AMANTRA began DJing at 17 after being classically trained as a violinist, quickly emerging as one of the most exciting artists in the Latin American underground scene. Born in Venezuela and based in Barcelona, she has already captivated dancefloors across the city and festivals such as Baum, Videoclub, Inmersion, and Stereo Picnic. Her DJing style is eclectic and complex, blending polyrhythmic tracks across genres like Techno, Speed Dembow, and UK Breaks, moving seamlessly across a wide range of BPMs. In 2022, she was featured by the cult label Tratratrax at Boiler Room Medellin and is currently a resident at LATINEO, a party series spotlighting Latin and Queer artists in Barcelona. AMANTRA’s sound is deeply connected to her origins, ranging from ambient and drone to fast, syncopated club music, always with a Leftfield touch and percussion at the core. On the decks, AMANTRA brings a sense of catharsis and rapture—a true Amazonian mass on the dancefloor.
